Hi, my name is Joy! I am a Brooklyn based licensed nail artist specializing in gel-x extensions. Nail art is my passion & I love to create fun, unique, creative sets that make a statement. Whether it’s hand painted art or working with non-traditional materials, I’m always happy to experiment & push the boundaries of what can be done with nails. My private studio is a safe space for all & my main goal is to help brighten my clients day by making their nail art dreams a reality! Please read the following policies to ensure the best experience: • I require a consultation via text before approving your appointment request. I will reach out personally using the phone number on file. Please answer the questions with all of the necessary information within 24 hours of submitting your booking request. • Please make sure to come to your appointment with bare nails if you’ve previously had nails done by another nail tech. I do not offer foreign soak offs. I also do not fill over others work. This includes press-ons & other diy nail enhancements as well. • Masks are always required & I do provide masks in case you don’t have one. • I work out of a small private studio, for that reason please come to your appointment alone. This policy includes but is not limited to pets, children, significant others, etc. • Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will be charged the cancellation fee to your card on file. The cancellation fee is the base price of the nail art tier booked. • I do not charge late fees but I reserve the right to cancel your appointment & charge the cancellation fee if you are more than 20 minutes late without communication (this is considered a no show). Please communicate when you are running late. Please understand lateness may also result in an amended service (no art/simplified art). • No call/no show appointments will be charged the cancellation fee and potentially blocked from booking in the future. • I do not offer appointments for soak offs only. • All sales are final & I do not give refunds under any circumstance, please let me know during your appointment if you are not satisfied with any aspect of the service so I can address it in the moment. If you have a cosmetic issue caused by a mistake on my end (nail pops off/stones falling off/gel peeling, etc) within one week of your appointment please contact me immediately & I will do my best to provide a solution. If you experience an issue that was caused by not adhering to nail aftercare procedures (picking, using nails as tools, not wearing gloves for cleaning, etc) I do charge for repairs. The amount is based on the time/materials it will take to fix the damage. • I do not copy other artists work detail for detail. If you are bringing inspo photos to your appointment I will do my best to get your nails as close as possible while still staying true to my style & taking into account my personal skillset. Inspo & recreation are very different, I will gladly give you nails that embody the inspo.
